Property Ownership Transfer
This service allows a buyer who purchased a property off-plan to resell it before the project is completed — transferring their ownership rights and payment obligations to a new buyer. The transaction is processed through the original Oqood registration.
What you need to bring
- Original off-plan sale contract (Oqood)
- Signed buyer-seller agreement (MOU or Form F, if applicable)
- No-objection letter from the developer (mandatory)
- Passport and Emirates ID for both parties (passport only for non-residents)
- Email and phone number for both parties
- Power of Attorney + POA holder's passport and Emirates ID (if applicable)
- Latest Statement of Account from the developer
What it costs
DLD fee
- 4% of the sale price
- + AED 40
Trustee fee
- AED 5,250 (VAT included) — for properties valued at AED 500,000 or above
- AED 3,675 (VAT included) — for properties below AED 500,000
